To be considered for a Tuition Exchange scholarship, candidates must meet all admissions requirements for an undergraduate degree, be accepted to Charleston Southern University, submit an application to the TE program and be certified by the exporting institution. There is no deadline for receipt of TE application from the importing institution, but there are a limited number of TE scholarships available. Scholarships will be awarded on a first-come basis contingent on the completion of all university admissions documents and receipt of the TE application.
CSU will provide a TE scholarship to meet the gap, if any, between all free financial aid you receive and full-time undergraduate tuition. Students must pay an enrollment deposit and complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) by June 1. Failure to meet this deadline could deem you ineligible for the TE scholarship. To maintain the TE scholarship for subsequent semesters, students must be recertified by the exporting institution by April 15th, registered full-time, and earn a 2.0 cumulative GPA through the fall semester. TE scholarship does not cover part-time, summer tuition, undergraduate online degrees, or graduate programs.
