A United Methodist college with a strong liberal arts core, Florida Southern seeks to provide its students with a superior, values-based education that prepares them for meaningful, contributing lives and successful careers in a global society.

TE Scholars are required to live in campus owned housing. Maximum TE awarded for FY 2022-2023 will be $40,500 before federal grants, state scholarships and state grants are applied. The TE amount will be the remaining cost of tuition and fees after federal grants and state assistance, up to a maximum of $40,500.

Must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Selections are made based upon academic ability and need. FAFSA and TE applications should be submitted by 01-2-2022.

Students must be enrolled full time and maintain an acceptable social standing with the Dean of Student Development. Students must also maintain a minimum Cumulative GPA of 2.75 to retain the TE award.
