Additional Information
Trinity College is a preeminent New England liberal arts college, but you?ll find us in an urban setting. We?re nearly 200 years old, but we provide an education that is both relevant and timeless. We were founded in the Episcopal tradition, but we?re rooted in principles of religious and academic freedom. This is where liberal arts meets the real world.

If you want to become an engineer and minor in art, you can do that here. You can chase a career in politics and also cultivate a love of biology. It?s our mission to help you pursue whatever path you choose, and ensure that you gain real-world experience along the way.

Trinity's 9:1 student to faculty ratio means access to professors who have time to discuss your term paper in person, encourage your research project, and celebrate your success on Commencement Day. Choose from 41 academic majors and 27 minors in the liberal arts and sciences, including majors like Engineering, Neuroscience, Public Policy & Law, Human Rights, and many more.

Through internships, research opportunities, community-based learning, study-away opportunities, and groundbreaking centers and programs, your academic pursuits will have a lasting impact?on you, and on the world. Trinity College prepares you to be a bold, independent thinker who leads a transformative life.

Our campus is beautiful in a traditional New England-college way, with 100 green acres dotted with historic buildings, and is located in Connecticut's state capital, the city of Hartford. Trinity is home to about 2,200 undergraduate students from 48 states and 80 countries. Our students build community through more than 140 student clubs and organizations, 30 NCAA Division III athletic teams, and the community and cultural houses on campus.

We encourage you to visit Trinity College to see our campus and community yourself. We offer campus visits year-round on weekdays and on select weekends. If you are unable to visit us in-person, virtual opportunities to connect with our admissions staff and community are also available. We hope to see you soon!

No matter what you’re interested in studying, there’s a school on the list for you.
