The university integrates academic excellence with a Christian world view. A key distinction at Milligan is its committed and caring faculty. Eighty percent have earned the highest degree in their field, and many have years of career-based experience. They are respected and caring scholars who are committed to excellence in teaching and the success of their students.

Milligan is small in size by design. The student body of around 1,200 students makes for a small and close-knit community. More than 40 social, service, honorary and professional organizations encourage servant leadership. The college is affiliated with the Christian churches/churches of Christ and offers a vibrant spiritual life program.

Milligan's vision is to change lives and shape culture through a commitment to Christian leadership. For over 150 years, Milligan has been committed to educating Christian leaders who can translate Christian values to the workplace and who can share God's Word in varied professions and in diverse cultures.
