Additional Information
Each year we receive approximately 15 tuition exchange applications. Typically we will offer new Tuition Exchange awards to 40%-60% of on-time applicants accepted for admission each year. Admissions decisions at Randolph-Macon are made independent of financial aid or tuition exchange requests. After admissions decisions are completed, those accepted tuition exchange applicants are selected for awards based on academic achievement in high school, aptitude for college study, and potential for extracurricular contributions. Tuition Exchange decisions will be made no sooner than March 1, and applicants are notified in writing of our final decision.

It should be noted that students selected to receive Tuition Exchange and offered academic scholarships and other non-need-based awards will receive the larger of the awards plus the Virginia Tuition Assistance grant. Beginning with entering students in the Fall 2019, our tuition exchange award will not exceed the tuition exchange minimum set rate.

Full-time enrollment is a requirement for the Tuition Exchange award.

Students accepted to our Nursing Program are not eligible to receive tuition exchange awards.

Our Tuition Exchange recipients may use their awards for study abroad only in R-MC affiliated programs. Please contact us for details.

We encourage all students to submit the appropriate year Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This form can be submitted online at www.studentaid.gov. Our Title IV school code is 003733.

No matter what you’re interested in studying, there’s a school on the list for you.
