Additional Information
Saint Vincent College is a growing, Catholic, Benedictine, liberal arts and sciences college of 1650 undergraduate students located thirty-five miles southeast of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Saint Vincent College maintains a strong commitment to the liberal arts and sciences that grows out of a 1500 year old Benedictine educational tradition. The Saint Vincent Core Curriculum ensures students a broad exposure to humanities, fine arts, social sciences, mathematics and natural sciences, yet allows flexibility for students. Class sizes tend to be moderate: 25-30 students would be typical of an introductory course and 15 or fewer would be common in advanced courses. A strong orientation toward student research is a characteristic of the Saint Vincent education. As a primarily residential college serving traditional age students, Saint Vincent faculty work closely with students in and out of class. The College is organized into four schools and offers a range of undergraduate majors and a selected set of graduate programs. Please explore the college's website at: www.stvincent.edu
Initial awards are typically awarded in April. Applications should be submitted prior to that time. Late applications are accepted and will be considered if awards are available. |
