Are you ready to learn? Do you want to transform yourself?intellectually, personally, and socially? If so, you?ll fit right in at the University of Hartford, where we blend the feel of a small residential college with an array of academic programs and opportunities characteristic of a large university. Through relationships with faculty and staff dedicated to teaching, scholarship, research, the arts, and civic engagement, you will be prepared for a lifetime of learning and for personal and professional success. Whatever you want your story to be, we can help you achieve it.

Academics The University of Hartford offers more than 80 undergraduate majors through seven schools and colleges. Whatever you?re interested in studying, chances are we offer classes in that subject area. With the average undergraduate class size of about 20?25 students, you will benefit from the personal attention of our dedicated faculty.

Student Life The University of Hartford offers its students an exciting, safe, and comfortable lifestyle on our beautiful, suburban New England campus. Our students come from all 50 states and about 44 foreign countries. Because 92 percent of our freshman students choose to live on campus, you?ll find an active social and cultural calendar seven days a week at the University of Hartford.

Our Campus The university?s 340-acre main campus in suburban West Hartford features housing for 3,200 students, a modern sports and recreation complex, and a performing arts center (Lincoln Theater). At the heart of the campus is the Harry Jack Gray Center, housing the university?s libraries, conference facilities, and art gallery (Joseloff Gallery).

Financial Aid If you are a full-time undergraduate student applying for financial aid, you will be considered for all programs that the university administers. Some awards require that a student demonstrate financial need while others are based solely on academic, artistic, musical, or athletic achievement.

Come for a Visit! If you?re ready to see our campus in person, check out the campus visit section of our website. For an in-depth look at campus life, you can become a ?student for a day? through our Overnight Host Program: eat in the dining facilities, meet current students, take a tour, sit in on a class, and stay overnight on campus.

If you can?t make it to campus just yet, then take our virtual tour at hartford.edu.

No matter what you’re interested in studying, there’s a school on the list for you.
