Additional Information
McDaniel College is a private, selective college of the liberal arts and sciences offering a life-changing education to undergraduate students. One of the first things you'll notice is the sense of community that defines McDaniel. Professors are first and foremost teachers and mentors: you'll see them cheering from the sidelines of a soccer match or chatting with students over lunch in the Pub. And they have strong professional credentials: 95 percent hold the highest degree in their field. With a faculty-student ratio of only 12-to-1, classes are small and lively. At McDaniel, a college education is bigger and deeper than it is at other colleges. We are interested in discovering your passions, sparking your curiosity, and building your character. Your education involves living among friends and professors. It offers dozens of special opportunities. It focuses both on who you are now and who you want to be. Other life-changing opportunities: classes that average 17 students; more than 100 clubs, organizations, and athletics teams; and the opportunity to study at the only U.S. college campus in Budapest, Hungary. Students who are awarded Tuition Exchange show evidence of intellectual curiosity and the love of learning. Students must apply for admission by February 1. For the 2016-2017 academic year, approximately 60% of the students who applied for TE were offered a scholarship. We award full tuition and all students who apply for admission prior to February 1 will be notified of their Tuition Exchange Scholarship no later than March 15.

No matter what you’re interested in studying, there’s a school on the list for you.
