Additional Information
Widener University is an independent, metropolitan doctoral-intensive teaching institution offering more than 40 undergraduate majors and 30 graduate degree and certificate programs within seven schools and colleges--Arts and Sciences, Business Administration, Engineering, Health and Human Services, Delaware Law, Commonwealth Law, and Nursing. Widener has over 3,000 undergraduate students enrolled with a student faculty ratio of 12:1 and an average class size of 25 students. Students are very involved on campus with over 80 clubs and organizations and 22 varsity athletic teams. Widener operates on a rolling admission and freshmen acceptance is based on high school transcript, standardized test scores, and strength of high school academics. Widener is located approximately 12 miles south of Philadelphia and just two hours from New York City and Washington D.C. The tuition exchange scholarship is full undergraduate tuition for the fall and spring semesters. Please note that because the undergraduate scholarship covers the cost of tuition in full, it will supersede any Widener scholarships, grants or awards received towards the tuition bill. The tuition scholarship does not cover the Accelerated Nursing program, BSN, on-line programs or Graduate programs.
