Additional Information
Birmingham-Southern College (BSC) is a four-year, private liberal arts institution founded in 1856 and affiliated with the United Methodist Church located 3 miles from downtown Birmingham, Alabama. BSC is the result of a merger of Southern University, founded in Greensboro, Alabama, in 1856, with Birmingham College, opened in 1898 in Birmingham, Alabama. These two institutions were consolidated on May 30, 1918 under the name of Birmingham-Southern College. BSC offers more than $30 million in federal, state, and institutional programs, including scholarships, loans, grants and work-study. More than 95 percent of students receive some form of aid. BSC views the Tuition Exchange award as a merit scholarship. Application deadline is January 15th for the next Fall semester's award. Questions about the program should be directed to the Office of Financial Planning or Office of Human Resources.

No matter what you’re interested in studying, there’s a school on the list for you.
