At Stetson University, students find an education that provides depth and breadth. The breadth comes from our liberal arts foundation and wide range of interdisciplinary minors and the opportunities for students to put what they have learned to work - in research, with faculty, in internships and practica, and in off-campus study both at home and abroad. With a personal 12-to-1 student/faculty ratio, lively class discussions and close interaction are the norm. We challenge our students individually to broaden ways of thinking, to consider other viewpoints, and to engage in an effective dialogue about ideas.
Location: The DeLand campus, just 25 miles from Daytona Beach and 35 miles from Orlando, is the location of the College of Arts and Sciences, School of Business Administration, and School of Music. The College of Law is located in St. Petersburg, Florida and Tampa, FL. The Stetson University Center is in Celebration, Florida.
Student Body: Our 3000 undergraduates come from 45 states and more than 59 foreign countries and three territories. Fifty-eight percent of our students are female and 42 percent male.
Degree Programs: There are more than 70 majors and minors leading to the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Music, or Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Master's degrees are offered in accounting, business administration, education, fine arts, and counseling. The Juris Doctor and a Master of Laws in International Law and Business are offered by the College of Law, which guarantees admission to Stetson undergraduates who meet challenging academic requirements. A joint JD-MBA program with the School of Business Administration permits students to earn both degrees in a shorter time than would otherwise be required.
Deadlines: Tuition Exchange applicants must be accepted by the Office of Admission by February 15th. The TEP application must be received by February 15th. Applicants will be notified in March.
