Additional Information
St. Mary's community-oriented and caring learning environment is built on the Catholic, Marianist traditions of academic excellence and service to society. St. Mary's was named a "College that Builds Character" by the John Templeton Foundation and one of the nation's top "Colleges with a Conscience" by The Princeton Review and Campus Compact. The rich, personalized experience of a Marianist education will benefit you far into the future. St. Mary's has one of the top graduation rates in Texas, and was cited as a national model for student success by The Education Trust. Employers recruit on our campus because they value the ability of our well-rounded graduates to put their critical thinking and problem solving skills to use in the workplace. The leading graduate and professional schools across the nation consistently admit St. Mary's graduates to their programs. Students can choose from 44 majors and pre-professional programs in medicine, nursing, dentistry, pharmacy, allied health, and law, and build powerful portfolios through the Honors and Greehey Scholars Programs, internships, undergraduate research, study abroad, service in domestic and international settings, NCAA Division II athletics, University Ministry, and strong organizations.

The Tuition Exchange Scholarships cover full tuition. In recognition of achievement, students may be eligible for an additional $1,000 academic scholarship. Students who are eligible for the federal Pell Grant may use these funds to cover other educational costs, such as room and board.

No matter what you’re interested in studying, there’s a school on the list for you.
