Additional Information
A Drake education offers a unique mix of advantages for future success. Drake is large enough to offer more than 70 undergraduate academic programs, 160 organizations, and a community of students from around the world. Yet Drake's exceptional faculty and academic and extracurricular options are highly accessible to students. Drake's location in Des Moines, Iowa's capital, offers numerous professional internships; 75% of Drake's undergraduates have at least one. Drake is a great value, too--more than 95% of Drake's graduates obtain career positions or enter graduate school within six months of graduating.

For consideration, Tuition Exchange applications must be received, and the student must be admitted, by Dec. 1. All Tuition Exchange applicants to Drake University are encouraged to complete a FAFSA. Financial need is a factor that is considered when granting TE to incoming students.

The amount of the tuition exchange award is equal to Tuition Exchange's "Set Rate". Drake's Tuition Guarantee ensures that undergraduate tuition is fixed (will not increase), and accordingly tuition exchange awards will renew at the amount offered for the student's first year.

Tuition exchange awards replace all other University-funded tuition-specific awards. Tuition exchange awards do not cover room & board, fees (including tuition overload fees) or other charges, and cannot be used for travel courses or study abroad. Tuition Exchange awards are available for a maximum of 8 semesters of undergraduate study. Tuition Exchange awards may be used for the summer, but the summer will count as one of the student's remaining eligible semesters.

No matter what you’re interested in studying, there’s a school on the list for you.
