The University consists of the College of Liberal Arts, The Caspersen School for Graduate Studies, and the Theological School. The College of Liberal Arts faculty, more than 90 percent of whom hold the doctorate or the highest terminal degree in their fields, have been selected for their strong academic credentials, ability to inspire students, and dedication to teaching and to scholarship. The College aims to prepare its students for responsible and rewarding employment, for success in the most demanding graduate and professional programs, and to lead fully realized lives.

Drew's hometown, Madison, is 30 miles west of New York City and its location provides an incomparable setting in which to study, learn and live. The campus itself is home to the professional New Jersey Shakespeare Theatre and the Charles A. Dana Research Institute for Scientists Emeriti.
