Additional Information
At Manchester University, students are passionate about making a difference with their lives. It isn't enough to earn a degree or master a body of knowledge. They seek ways to better the world in which they live.

Manchester offers challenging and rigorous academics, close personal attention from faculty, small classes, and knowledgeable faculty with a primary commitment to teaching students. Students from 23 states and 29 countries study on campus, bringing diverse backgrounds, interests, and goals that enrich classroom discussions and campus life.

Even our classic location in a small town in northeast Indiana - North Manchester, population 6,000 - reinforces what you know instinctively when you step onto campus: Manchester University is an exceptional small liberal arts college.

With just over 1,100 students, Manchester University has a well-deserved reputation for excellence. Last year 96% of graduates were employed or in graduate school within six months of graduation. Manchester students have the opportunity to study abroad for a semester or year at one of thirteen sites across the world. The month-long January session provides additional opportunities for off-campus study.

Manchester is a college of the Church of the Brethren, founded in 1889, with a commitment to educating men and women to be responsible and capable citizens.

A student put it very well recently: "All those who have conviction and are seeking a better world would find Manchester a great place to start. The opportunities are there to explore the world from many perspectives and to feel safe enough to test out ideas of one's own."

No matter what you’re interested in studying, there’s a school on the list for you.
