Additional Information
Cornish College of the Arts is an exhilarating place to be and one of only three private, non-profit performing and visual arts colleges in the nation, Cornish offers a distinctive blend of visual and performing arts grounded in a core curriculum of humanities and sciences.

Cornish College is four-year college offering a Bachelor of Music degree (vocal, instrumental and composition) and Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in Art, Film, Animation, Illustration, Design, Dance, and Theater. We encourage students to exchange ideas, to experiment - find their unique artistic voices and share them with us in ways both innovative and traditional.

We are a small college with 800 students in degree programs and another 150 in preparatory classes. We are accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges and the National Association of Schools of Art and Design.

Mission Statement: The mission of Cornish College of the Arts is to provide students aspiring to become practicing artists with an educational program of the highest possible quality, in an environment that nurtures creativity and intellectual curiosity, while preparing them to contribute to society as artists, citizens, and innovators.

Cornish realizes this mission by offering baccalaureate studies in the performing and visual arts and by serving as a focal point in the community for public presentation, artistic criticism, participation and discussion of the arts.

No matter what you’re interested in studying, there’s a school on the list for you.
